Privacy Notice

Fantasy Armstrong is an unofficial fantasy-chess game operated by Fantasy Armstrong. Questions and data-rights requests can be sent to support@fantasyarmstrong.ie.

Information we use

When you register, we store your email address, manager name, fantasy-team name, authentication records, squad selections and game scores. We also use chess players’ names, ratings, club declarations and published league results from public chess sources to operate the game.

Why we use it

Account and squad data are used to provide the service you request, secure accounts, calculate scores and publish the overall fantasy table. Public chess data is used for the legitimate purpose of running and explaining the fantasy competition. The public leaderboard shows a manager name, fantasy-team name and scores, but not an email address.

Storage and sharing

Account data is hosted by Supabase and site data is hosted through the website provider. We do not sell personal data. Information is shared only with service providers needed to run and secure the game, or where required by law.

Retention and your choices

We retain an active account for the fantasy season and as needed to maintain historical tables. You can correct your profile or permanently delete your account from the account page. You may also ask for access, correction, restriction, objection, portability or deletion by email. You can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.

Browser storage

The site uses essential local storage for your draft squad and Supabase authentication session. These are required for squad building and sign-in. No advertising or optional analytics cookies are used at launch.
